Wooden darning mushroom

The wooden darning mushroom is handmade in Hämeenlinna from Finnish wood. The cap of the darning mushroom is curly birch, the wood of which is beautifully patterned and hard. The removable leg of the mushroom is made of maple. The leg is hollow, so you can easily store darners or other treasures there.

A darning mushroom is a good tool for mending a hole in the heel of a woolen sock or the elbow of a sweater, for example – place the darning mushroom at the hole and darn to the end. Each mushroom is unique – made with love and craftsmanship.
