Summery socks with delicate summer blooms of lupines in a row of knitted embossed patterns.

Size: 37-39 (40-41)
Finished sock dimensions: stem height 15(15) cm, foot length 24-25(25-26) cm, foot width 11(12) cm
Gauge: 23 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm plain needle size 3.5 mm
Yarn:
DK-weight wool or merino wool yarn.
Wire thread:

• Main colour: 90(100) g of the recommended yarn or at least 200(225) m of other DK-weight yarn
• Contrast colour 1: (flowers/tip striping) 20 g of the recommended yarn or at least 45 m of DK heavy weight yarn. If you leave out the tip striping, you will need 10 g or 25 m
• Contrast colour 2: (selvedge/leaves/stems) 20 g of the recommended yarn or at least 45 m of DK heavy yarn

Accessories:

• 3.5 mm Magic Loop stick 80 cm
• 1 auxiliary stick/palmwood stick
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 3 stitch markers

Techniques: socks are knitted from stem to toe on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. The Lupines pattern on the sock arms is knitted in cable knit and twisted in braid. Stems of flowers
is crocheted in Vertical Plaid Knitting before heel knitting. The socks have a Dutch heel and a wide band opening at the toe.
