Knitting for Olive – Children’s Pizza Sweater (knitting pattern)

Knitting for Olive – Children’s Pizza Sweater is a soft and chunky sweater with a beautiful lace-like pattern that resembles small pizzas. The sweater is knitted from the top downwards, closed at the beginning of the knit with the elastic at the neckline. The blouse has raglan cut-outs. There is also an elasticated rib at the cuffs and hem. The surface wind pattern is a diagram.

The sweater is knitted with double yarn – 1 strand Knitting for Oliven Heavy Merino and 1 strand Knitting for Oliven Soft Silk Mohair.

Tip: If you finish the yarn ends neatly, you can also wear the blouse inside out – pretty nifty 🙂

Sizes: 1 (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) years

Measurements of the finished knit:

• Circumference: about 62 (64, 70, 76, 81, 87, 90) cm
• Length from shoulder to hem: approx. 30 (34, 39, 43, 47, 51, 55) cm
• Sleeve length from armpit to cuff: 22 (24, 31, 33, 39, 41, 45) cm

Yarn: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (2 (2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6) gathers AND 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair 1 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4) gathers
Needles: 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 5.5, 5.5, 5.5) mm AND 7 mm circular needles and sock needles (or according to handwriting)
Density: 14s x 20k = 10cm pattern needle
