The Geneve is a beautiful cotton top with an added strand of luxurious silk mohair. It has a triple ribbed front with a pattern reminiscent of an alpine star flower that grows in the Swiss mountains. The instructions include a diagram of how to knit the pattern.
Size: head circumference 55-57 cm
Density: 25s = 10 cm plain knitting
Needles: 3mm round needles with 40cm cable and 3mm sock needles for narrowing.
Yarn: Two (2) skeins of Krea Deluxe Organic cotton (50 g = 165 m) and two (2) skeins of Knitting for Olive silk wool (25 g = 225 m).
The hat is knitted with double yarn.
