Buds mitten (knitting pattern)

Inspired by nature and spring buds on trees, these beautifully delicate mittens are a must. The Mittens model has been designed with us everyday outdoor enthusiasts in mind. The model features a completely new design that adapts to the position of the hand and also features a reinforced palm side that is ideal for use.

Size: XS-S (M-L) equivalent to sizes 6-7 (8-9)
Measurements of the finished mitten: total length 29(31) cm, thumb base to tip 13(15) cm, palm circumference 22(24) cm, thumb length 6(7) cm
Knitting density: 24 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm reinforced pattern on 3.5 mm needle
Yarn:
DK-weight wool or alpaca yarn.
Recommended domestic wool yarns Jalovilla Uuhi 230 m/100 g and Jalovilla Räsy 220 m/100 g
Wire thread:
80(90) g of the recommended yarn or at least 190(210) m of other DK yarn

The pattern uses a twisted braid and a reinforced knit on the palm side to knit the Sloop pattern on the back of the hand.
